Our mission

olives & sheep is a living, cartographic archive of data and documentation, starting in the Occupied West Bank.

We are a new kind of research portal inviting users to access aggregated data and reports linked to places, from a variety of sources, directly via the map.

olives & sheep relies upon established and vetted data leaders in the field, namely UN-OCHA, B'Tselem and Open Street Maps, for our base layers. We accept and utilize data and documentation from additional NGOs, as well as activists, journalists and researchers recommended through our trusted networks.
